Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare live-action trailer has hoverbikes

Battleship director Peter Berg has a pretty good idea of what Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare would look like as a movie, as demonstrated by the live-action trailer that was released for the game yesterday.

The clip stars John Carter’s Taylor Kitsch, and shows off a lot of the cool exoskeleton-powered moves players will be pulling off in the game when it’s out next week like ripping a door off a car and using it as a shield, gripping onto the side of a moving truck with magnetic gloves and firing off a grappling hook to prevent a lethal fall. Oh and riding hoverbikes.

If you’ve seen a few trailers of the game so far and thought they look cool, things look even better done with Hollywood special effects. At least, I think so.

Like COD’s single-player campaigns, the clip is short and sweet but of questionable substance. Enjoy!
