Next week Wednesday, Startup Grind will be hosting Vumatel founder Niel Schoeman to talk about tech entrepreneurship and fibre to the home (FTTH) in South Africa.

Vumatel won the contract to build the Parkhurst home broadband network and is tipped to spend around R3 billion in the next few years to roll out home fibre to 200 000 homes in 100 suburbs across South Africa.

Schoeman is also the co-founder and chairman of an international technology consulting firm The Birchman Group and  co-founder of Conduct Telecoms which was recently sold to Dark Fibre Africa.

Startup Grind will host Schoeman on 19 November at JoziHub in Milpark from 6pm. You can visit the JoziHub website for more information.
