Meet the South African Doodle 4 Google finalists

The top 20 finalists for the South African edition of the Doodle 4 Google competition have been chosen and it’s now up to the public to vote for the best drawings in each age category.

A quick look at the pictures submitted by both primary and high school learners is guaranteed to pull on your heart strings, as they depict each finalist’s future dreams for South Africa.

A common theme among the entries the desire to see and end to racism, poverty, crime, Rhino poaching and an increase in better access to education and social cohesion.

Public voting for the Doodle 4 Google competion closes on 26th November. The winners will be announced on 29th November and the grand prize winner will walk away with R100 000 technology grant to be used at his or her school and have their doodle featured on the Google South Africa home page on the 3rd of December.
