Global mobile product reseller, Zwipit, has just announced its launch in South Africa, giving customers and businesses the chance to sell their old goods safely online.

Selling your old and unwanted tablet, feature phone or smartphone is pretty simple – all you need to do is enter your phone’s make, model, or IMEI number and if offers for it are available, you can choose whether to accept or decline.

If you do accept the offer, a courier will be arranged to fetch your mobile from your doorstep and the cash amount will be deposited into your bank account within 10 working days.

“Our goal is to extend the useful life of devices already in the market, to the benefit of the person who sells it and its new owner,” says Nothando Moleketi, Zwipit South Africa’s executive of marketing and operations.

Every mobile bought by Zwipit is either repaired for resale or disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
