If you’ve ever wanted to find an old video, status update or photo you and your friends have shared with each other on Facebook, you know what a chore it can be to have to go through an entire timeline just to local it. Now, thanks to feedback from users around the world, Facebook has made it so much easier to find those old posts.
With the latest update to Facebook’s search function, all you have to do now is type in a name or keyword/s into the search bar on your mobile and it will pull up related results.
“Search at Facebook is a long-term effort. Today is a step toward helping you tap into the experiences and perspectives of your friends,” the company said on its blog.
The update is only available on Facebook’s iOS and desktop versions for now – the company didn’t indicate when we can expect the same for other operating systems.
