Startup 90 looking for social tech entrepreneurs to join next accelerator program

If you’re s social entrepreneur with an idea for a tech startup (or are already running one) and are looking for a way to grow your business, receive guidance and learn to maximise on the resources available to you, then you’re what Startup 90 is looking for.

Startup 90 is a Cape Town-based accelerator that hosts a three-month program that prepares social entrepreneurs, particularly in education, finance, healthcare and agriculture, to accelerate the process of building and launching their tech startup.

Three startups will be chosen to take part in the first program intake for 2015 where they will receive mentorship from professionals and experts, go through workshops and attend special events.

The program is intended to help entrepreneurs to:

  • reduce the risks associated with building and scaling a technology business
  • develop a clear route to market for their technology
  • prepare to become investment ready

Startup 90 has a special interest in women and young entrepreneurs and encourages them to apply for the accelerator program that kicks off on 2nd March. Applications are already open and can be submitted via the Startup 90 website.
