It’s John Malkovich vs. zombies in Advanced Warfare’s first DLC pack

What can Activision do with all of its Call of Duty money to make the game even better (or at least, more headline-friendly)? Well for starters, they can hire Hollywood actors to add some spice to their downloadable content packs, and invent brand-new zombie types for players to shoot.

And who better to hire than that all-round badass and brilliant character actor John Malkovich to star in Havoc, the upcoming DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare?

The DLC’s promo video that arrived recently [via Polygon] shows a detailed Malkovich pwning zombies together with fellow movie stars Rose McGowan, Bill Paxton and Jon Bernthal, as well as exoskeleton-powered zombies overrunning an Atlas facility.

Atlas is the mercenary corporation behind much of the goings-on of Advanced Warfare’s single-player campaign, and if you listen carefully towards the end you’ll hear exactly how Malkovich’s character, a maintenance man feels about them. Not one for subtlety, that man.

The pack also brings four new multiplayer maps, weapons and exoskeleton moves for players to try out, and like all COD DLC it is out first for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One and only later for everyone else (with no confirmed release date for those platforms announced yet).

The drop date for Xbox players? January 27.

But enough yammering, watch the promo video instead for a much more visceral introduction to what awaits Xbox players next week.
