Is Samsung unveiling Galaxy S6 on 1 March?

It’s probably the worst-kept (or most well-known) secret in the smartphone world, but Samsung almost without fail every year announces a new flagship Galaxy model at its press conference at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

So when Samsung teased “what’s next” in a rather cryptic picture, it does leave much to the imagination –  it is more than likely  to be the Galaxy S6, and a curved one to boot.

“While it’s not perfectly clear what this image represents, it bears an uncanny resemblance to the right-hand side of the Galaxy Note Edge, where the smartphone’s signature curved display tapers off. Seeing as how Samsung isn’t about to re-unveil a phone, our money’s on the teaser alluding to a Galaxy S6 with an Edge-like screen,” Engadget wrote.

Samsung’s Unpacked event will be on 1 March, smack-bang in the middle of MWC so if you want get a look at what is being unveiled, you can tune into Samsung’s live Youtube stream on the day.
