From 10am to 10pm today, South Africans can expect stage one loadshedding to be implemented, Eskom has said.
The announcement comes after the national power utility tweeted a warning earlier this morning that the possibility of loadshedding was high due to the power grid being constrained.

The same announcement was made yesterday morning, but loadshedding was avoided as demand decreased significantly after the message was sent out, according to Eskom.
Eskom will not load shed at 10am today as the electricity demand has decreased significantly since the early warning notification was made — Eskom Media Desk (@Eskom_MediaDesk) February 3, 2015
However, the schedule was then shifted to later on in the day between 5pm and 10pm.
Remember to check the Eskom loadshedding schedule to see if and when you can expect loadshedding in your area.
