Catch the TED2015 live stream at JoziHub next Tuesday

There are just six days left before the annual TED event kicks off in Vancouver on 17th March, Canada and TED fans in Joburg have the opportunity to catch the main event on livestream at JoziHub courtesy of TEDxJohannesburg.

TED2015’s theme is Truth and Dare, and it focuses on questioning certain widely held beliefs around the globe and finding ideas that will create a future we actually want and need.

“We will find the minds best capable of reframing our most familiar beliefs and concerns … and leave time in the program to challenge them in turn, to test their logic, to dig deeper,” reads the TED2015 program overview.

The two sessions that will be livestreamed at JoziHub are entitled  ‘What Are We Thinking?’ and ‘Machines That Learn’ and will be hosted by speakers with backgrounds in a variety of disciplines, among them including science, art  and robotics.

The event will run from 6pm to 11:45pm and tickets cost R200 (students pay only R100). You can get your ticket from Quicket.

Visit the TED2015 website to see the speaker line-up and find out more about the event.
