Windows 10 leak shows off new Tablet Mode

Windows 10 development continues apace, and the latest leaked build has shown that Microsoft is working on ways to make using the new OS in desktop and tablet mode just that little bit easier.

Neowin has reported that build 10036 streamlines the process of switching between the two, or sticking with whichever one you like the most.

The new feature is called Tablet Mode, and it’s a section under Settings that lets you always stay in your current mode, be prompted to change when the tablet detects being docked in a docking station, or not asking when docked and simply switching automatically.

At the very least, Microsoft is providing people with the choice as opposed to forcing any one way to use Windows 10 down their throats, and that’s never a bad thing.

Neowin says this leak is the first in a few months, but also that Microsoft has also promised a faster release cadence in future, so expect updates and leaks to increase in frequency as the year progresses.

Are you guys playing with the Windows 10 preview build? If so, what are your thoughts on this?
