Show us your SA-inspired 3D print and win!

Thursday 2nd April will see the second meetup of 3D Printing JHB, an informal group for all those with an interest in desktop 3D printing in the Johannesburg area.

For this event we will be running small competition based on the theme of “South African inspired 3D prints”. From the Joburg skyline to the Big Five to loadshedding, we want to encourage members to come along with a print that reflects something that says “South Africa” to you, and the best will win cool prizes (more details to follow).

3D Printing JHB meetings are free to attend, and anyone who owns, uses or wants to find out more about 3D printing is welcome. Want to be inspired by the work of others or find tips and advice on getting the most from a desktop printer? Come and join in on 2nd April.

This meetup is in collaboration with Hubs, makers.htxt.africa, OPEN and Trobok Toys. If you want to come along, sign up at Hubs’ event page over here.

When: 2nd April 2015, 7pm
Where: OPEN Collaborative Workspaces, Maboneng
