If you have been holding on to your hat for Halo 5, thankfully you only have to wait until 27 October. The announcement for the release was officially made over the weekend, as Xbox simply tweeted “The Master Chief returns October 27th.”

The premise for the game is that there are always two sides to a story, and what better way to convey that message with two different trailers, one featuring Master Chief, and the other featuring a new character named Spartan Locke.

Have a look below:

According to GameSpot, “it has been confirmed that Agent Locke would be a playable character in Halo 5, and that Cortana will make an appearance in the game. Producer Josh Holmes recently confirmed that the game will use dedicated servers for all multiplayer, including custom games.”
