[WATCH] Behind the scenes on Google’s Project Loon

It’s not often that Google’s Project Loon gives us an update on what is going on with its exciting internet operations, so it comes as a treat to have this behind-the-scenes video for the world to see.

Project Loon posted a four-minute YouTube clip on Google+ showing people what kind of work that goes into getting internet access to some of the world’s most remote areas.

In the video, you can see the first ever balloon test conducted in New Zealand on the 3rd of March 2013, how the balloons are made and Mike Cassidy, Project Loon’s head, also lets us in on some the challenges he and his team faced in growing the project to reach more places around the globe.
