Three new filters makes 27 for Instagram

Photo sharing service Instagram has just introduced three additional filters to its line up of creative tools and says users can expect more to come on a more regular basis due to the positive feedback and demand for more from fans.

Lark, Reyes and Juno, which the Facebook-owned company says are inspired by outdoor weekend adventures, follows on Instagram’s latest trend of bringing subtle, yet artistic filters that are designed to brighten and enhance photos.

Lark resonates more with red, blue and green tones adding a degree of intensity to each one, while Reyes is ideal for a faded vintage look. Juno adds tints cooler tones such as green and makes warm tones warmer and adds a glow to white.

Also included in Instagram’s latest update is the ability to use emojis in hashtags. So instead of typing in the word “camera” in your hashtag, you can just include a camera emoji. You can also search for emoji hashtags in the explore tab to see posts from other users who have used the same emoji.

The three new filters and emoji hashtags are immediately available on Instagram for iOS and Android.
