May the fourth be with you!
On this greatest of days (and the days before and after it), fans of Star Wars and video games based on the mega-franchise get to say silly things and cash in on all the awesome Star Wars game specials that are running.
Like these Mac games from Green Man Gaming:
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (Mac) for $5.99
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, also for Mac, for $5.99
These from GOG.com:
There are a lot so just click here to list them all, available DRM-free via Good Old Games dot com. GOG has just added Star Wars: Rebel Assault I & II, which isn’t discounted quite yet but a good way to get a lot of value out of R120 if you’re into challenging, FMV-heavy 90s games.
Star Wars games on Steam:
Same as GOG, Steam has a whole bunch of Star Wars games going at a discount, including bundles like the Jedi Knight collection for $5.99, the X-Wing bundle for $26.99 and Knights of the Old Republic I & II going for just $2.99 each.
That’s some good value right there as both KOTORs feature some of the very best RPG writing and a compelling sort-of turn-based combat system.
The prettiest of the titles available are the two Force Unleashed games – third-person action games that emphasise the use of Force powers – and the most recent are the Star Wars-themed tables for FX2 Pinball games that came out in 2013.
Happy Star Wars-ing!
