After a brief period where South Africans didn’t experience any more loadshedding, it seems as if the dreaded pastime of sitting in the dark is now back for good.
Over the last couple of weeks, when Eskom announced loadshedding, it was usually only Stage 1 for about 4 hours a day – or that is at least what they claim.
But over the last few days, things seem to have gone from bad to worse, with Eskom changing the loadshedding stages more frequently.
Today is a very good example of that, as Eskom implemented Stage 1 early this morning, only to shift that to Stage 2 couple of minutes ago.
#PowerAlert: #Load_shedding will move to stage 2 from 17h00 until 22h00 today. Eskom sincerely apologises for the inconvenience.

Our suggestion, besides trying to use electricity sparingly, is to invest in some basic supplies and start going off-grid, just like Toby Kurien did for R1 271.
