Cape Town hosts Electronics Gaming Expo this weekend

It’s not as big as rAge in Johannesburg, but we’d be remiss not to remind Capetonian readers that if you’re looking for something to do this weekend, the annual Electronics Gaming Expo (EGE) is where all the cool kids are.

Running from today through to Sunday, activities at EGE include an Intel Hackathon, esports gaming challenges, a cosplay competition and board game activities.

“EGE South Africa – Electronic + Gaming Expo will provide a spectacular platform for the gaming fraternity. Gamers will not only see, but will also be able to touch, feel and experience the virtual world and what this amazing and exciting industry has to offer,” organisers say.

EGE is taking place at the Cape Town International Conference Centre and ends on Sunday. Get your ticket from Computicket.
