Trailer for second Steve Jobs movie released

A trailer for the Steve Jobs biopic named after the late Apple co-founder has been released through the Universal Pictures YouTube channel today.

Running for a little longer than a minute, the trailer shows lead actor Michael Fassbender in Jobs’ trademark rimless eyeglasses. A narrowing screenshot follows Fassbender’s character as he walks onto stage and under the spotlight with a gushing audience all around. Here it is:

The movie is directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin who also penned The Social Network. The star studded cast includes actors Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels. The trailer has attracted more than 20 000 views in eleven hours.

The movie is set for release in the US on October 9th which is four days after the fourth anniversary of Jobs’ death. No release dates have been announced for South Africa.
