Cell C customers will have free access to instant messaging service WhatsApp for a little while longer thanks to another cut-off extension.

The mobile network just announced that “due to popular demand”, free WhatsApp access will be available to contract and MegaBonus and EasyChat prepaid users until August 31st.

The promo was launched in October 19th last year and was set to expire next Tuesday on June 30th.

Currently, you can send videos, photos, messages and voice messages for free, but viewing media requires a positive airtime or data balance.
