Samsung reportedly working on an 18.4-inch Android tablet

The playground tactics of modern-day super-corporations continues as Samsung prepares to release the biggest tablet you’ve ever seen onto the unsuspecting global gadget market.

You’ve presumably read the headline so you know how big it’s going to be, but what else will it have?

Well, according to SamMobile, a semi-official Samsung blog (where the news broke), it’s going to have an eight-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal (and expandable) storage.

It’ll also sport a TFT LCD display that runs at 1 920×1 080. This means it won’t be a slouch in the performance department, and that’s never bad news.

Its picture-taking potential sounds a little ham-strung, though, as apparently it’ll only have an 8MP camera on the back, and a very 2005-sounding 2.1MP camera on the front. Still, that’s good enough for 1080p video chats so perhaps it’ll suffice.

That’s all anyone knows at this point, as Samsung hasn’t actually officially unveiled it yet and SamMobile doesn’t know when it’s coming or to which territories.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this one, as it will dwarf Samsung’s 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (seen in the featured image above), and we’re curious as to whether people will flock to it for that additional screen real estate, or laugh when they see it in the shops and keep moving.
