Total service stations are offering a new free WiFi service so consumers can stay connected while they fill up their vehicles.

You can use free Telkom WiFi to connect for up to 30 minutes at more than 260 stations around South Africa, via simple log in process. Any usage beyond 30 minutes will cost you R15 for an additional half an hour and R25 for an hour extension.

“Research shows a growing move to free access to WiFi hotspots. Total grabbed the opportunity to deliver more convenience service options to its forecourt customers, in offering free WiFi” Jabulani Mabaso, manager of national retail and convenience at Total, said in a statement.

The free WiFi service is available at all stations that have a convenience store and/or restaurant.
