The Google DevFest Returns to Pretoria

Great news for Google fans in Gauteng: the Google Developer Groups DevFest conference is back in Pretoria for a great weekend of code festivities.

The festival will be exploring and utilizing all the different Google services and tools. This is for everyone, beginners, experts and those wanting to expand their knowledge of utilization of Google tech tools.

Many countries around the world are celebrating the GDG DevFest 2015 season. Pretoria joins the host cities on the 23rd to the 25th of October with a flavour of local dev activities. Local DevFest is organized by the GDG Pretoria, mLab Southern Africa and Geekulcha.

The Google DevFest will consist of workshops, exhibitions, Show and Tell sessions and a Starter-Finisher hackathon. Mobile apps, web applications development and Internet of Things (IoT) will be business of the day, and it’s going to be crazy.Who will you meet at Google DevFest? The South African Google Developer Groups Country Manager will be hosting these code festivities at the CodeTribe Academy at the Innovation Hub. The geeks, hackers, experts, fans and the Geekulcha VacWork scholars are amongst the participants of the Google DevFest 2015.

There are some Google goodies to be given away and everyone will walk away with something new; knowledge and new friends for work, as well as collaborative opportunities.

You can also exhibit your project during the conference. This is a platform for creativity and collaboration with like minded Google and Android fans out there.
