The latest Humble Book Bundle is filled with maker literature

While the ethos of making is usually “learn as you do” and “trial and error”, sometimes you need a strong helping hand to point you in the right direction.

One of the strongest hands online is Make: – the company behind Maker Faire and Make: magazine is a true veteran in this DIY world we live in.

It has partnered up with Humble Bundle to create a special version of the Humble Book Bundle. Pay your preferred amount to get access to seven different Make: magazines, and pay more than the average ($11.10 / R157.85) to get even more volumes. The top of the pile is a $15 (R213) package that gets you absolutely everything:

In addition, the bundle comes with a discount for $10 off print and $5 off digital subscriptions to Make: magazine.

A portion of the sales are going towards Maker Ed, a non-profit that focuses on educating the youth through making. Buyers of the bundle get to choose exactly how the money gets split between Make:, Humble Bundle and Maker Ed.

At the time of writing; 3 216 purchases have been made, totalling $35 702 (R507 815), but expect those numbers to grow drastically as time goes on.

If you want your own bundle, go pick it up here. Remember that the bundle is digital only and will be provided in multiple formats that work with Kindle, iPad, Kobo, Nook and more. The offer ends on the 25th of November, 2015.
