[htxt.africast] November games bonanza

It’s November and the games are coming thick and fast, so we thought we’d do a podcast focusing on gaming goodness.

Nick has recently returned from BlizzCon, Blizzard’s annual gaming festival for fans of StarCraft, Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft and the company’s other titles, and he shares a lot of what he saw there. Basically, you’ll wish you’d been with him, although that 22-hour travel window might put you off so perhaps just settle for living vicariously through his stories.

And because Fallout came out last week and most of us have been playing, Clinton and Deon chat about it and what they’ve been up to. Fallout 4 seemingly retains the appeal of previous Fallouts, in that people appear to be playing it very differently. The bottom line, though, is that it’s definitely worth playing if you even remotely enjoy open world, post-apocalypse games.

We end with some banter about how Steam is now selling its wares in rands, and how surprised we all were that the conversion has actually worked out in local PC gamers’ favour. Don’t believe us? Fire up Steam yourself and have a look.

And that’s all we had time for. Apologies for the late posting.
