[htxt.africast] All about Anonymous, AfricaCom 2015 and Philips’ latest tech

We know, we’re late, but we were missing a vital piece of our recording setup on Friday which was nicked by one who shall remain nameless. Nevertheless, we are here today with your weekly podcast.

Clinton has been keeping a keen eye on the feud between the online collective known as Anonymous and extremist group ISIS, in particular the supposed outing of various ISIS Twitter accounts.

AfricaCom 2015 was held in Cape Town last week and Brendyn was there to see Intel’s police car, Huawei’s LampSite technology which can improve indoor cellular signal, and he also got some hands-on time with Mozilla’s FireFox OS smartphones.

Finally Nick takes us through some of the great things Philips and Merck are doing in the medical sector, including a prototype device that can analyse your blood and tell you whether or not you have HIV, in under 30 minutes.

Enjoy the episode!
