First National Bank account holders can now pay for their ShowMax subscriptions using eBucks.

If you’re interested in the VOD (Video On Demand) service and you haven’t had seen worth spending FNB’s rewards on, head over to the eBucks page where there’s a rather comprehensive list of deals posted.

Those who are slightly curious can pick a 1-month subscription for 990 eBucks (R99), but anyone who wants to subscribe over a longer term can opt for the 3-month and 6-month subscriptions, priced at 2 970 eBucks (R297) and  5 940 eBucks (R594) respectively.

The 6-month package may be attractive to those who are already convinced by ShowMax’s features and selection (our erstwhile reviewer, Deon Du Plessis isn’t one of them) will be pleased to note that the 6-month subscription offers several levels of discount – up to 40%, in fact.

At the time of this writing, ShowMax’s subscriber numbers aren’t known. It’s likely, though, that the VOD service is hoping to increase them with this initiative.
