Show off your Raspberry Pi project at the Geekulcha MakerHangout

The makers over at Geekulcha have teamed up with Kenya-based LakeHub for a continent-wide MakerHangout webinar focusing on Raspberry Pi innovation in Africa – and if you have a Raspberry Pi project, you can have it featured during the talk.

“The idea is to explore, assess quality and encourage collaboration amongst African Makers. What are you making? We shall choose about 15 Makers in Africa who will showcase their Raspberry Pi projects during the Webina,” explained Tiyani Nghonyama, COO and developer at Geekulcha.

The showcase will coincide with a Raspberry Pi Hack Day taking place in Kisumi (Kenya).

If you have a project based around a Raspberry Pi or would like to collaborate for the event, contact Geekulcha at makers [AT] geekulcha [DOT] com.

Details:

Date: Wednesday 17th February

Time: 10:00 – 12:00

Place: Geekulcha (U8 Enterprise Building, The Innovation Hub, Persequor, City of Tshwane, 0087)

If you can’t make it to either venue in SA or Kenya, the events will be streamed on the Geekulcha YouTube channel, which we’ve embedded below. Just remember that the video will not play until things kick off in February:
