Vox Telecom acquires digital marketing firm Everlytic

Local telecoms operator Vox Telecom has announced that it is now the majority stakeholder of Everlytic, a digital communications company that specialises in marketing cloud software.

The acquisition means that Vox will now be able to offer its clients the ability to communicate with their customers through email, fax and various other channels.

With clients such as SA Home Loans, Postnet, Daily Maverick and Sage Pastel Accounting, chief executive officer at Vox Telecom, Jacques du Toit hopes to leverage the success Everlytic has enjoyed in the past.

“The leadership team at Everlytic has created a specific culture in the business, and our intention is not to change this, but rather allow them to build on what is already a huge success”, remarked du Toit in a statement.

Back in 2013, The Vumela Fund (which is managed by FNB and Edge Growth) acquired a minority stake in Everlytic, which Vox has said the fund will retain moving forward.

“We’re excited to continue backing this exceptional team and world-class digital communications software”, Richard Rose, Head of Investments for Vumela, said about the newly-announced acquisition.

Current Everlytic customers shouldn’t experience any problems during the transition, and Vox Telecom has said that customers should expect the same level of service in the future that they have come to expect from Everlytic.
