Learn to raise startup capital funding with SweepSouth’s co-founder next week

Want to raise capital funding for your startup but a need some guidance? Join Startup Grind in Cape Town next week as it hosts SweepSouth’s Aisha Pandor who will share how the company managed to secure millions in investment for the business.

Pandor will be discussing SweepSouth’s journey which lead to it being selected as part of the 500 Startups incubator, last year as well as how it managed to secure R10 million in funding from some of the country’s top startup investors.

Carl Wazen from Yoco, a Cape Town-based fintech startup which uses point-of-sale tech to enable small businesses to accept credit card payments regardless of the size of their business, will also be sharing how it received R17 million in funding and is seeing double-digit customer growth on a monthly basis.

The event will be hosted at Workshop 17 at the V & A Waterfront, will run from 5:30pm – 7:30pm and tickets are available on the Startup Grind website for R50.
