Giant Cop: Justice Above All is a VR game that lets you patrol the streets as a colossal copper

At this point god games are something of a dead genre, but Giant Cop: Justice Above All is looking to breath new life into it by making you a 200 foot tall police officer meting out justice in virtual reality (VR).

The game, which is only a tech demo at the moment, promises the ability to help either protect or terrorize the aptly named Micro City.

Protecting it involves catching criminals by scooping them up in your godly hands and throwing them into a jail which (for some reason) looks like a huge rubbish bin and rewards you with fireworks.

Alternatively, you can also throw people around like the ants they are and bat helicopters out of the sky. We’re not the police, you are.

The VR aspect comes into play as the cop’s two giant hands become your own. In the beginning of the demo above, it looks like the hands will be controlled by the HTC Vive peripherals, which also implies that the game is currently running on that headset.

Developer Other Ocean Interactive has put out a good few, obscure games so far, but nothing you’ve likely heard of.  In an Imgur post by one of the developers, it’s promised that more information about the game is set to be released in the coming weeks, so we’ll keep you posted.

To tide you over, there’s a 360 degree trailer which you can enjoy if you’re watching in Google Chrome. Good luck out there, rookie.
