Vote to get your choice of location on the Monopoly Mzansi Edition board

South Africa has long had its own localised version of Monopoly, but now it’s about to get better with the upcoming Mzansi Edition, a version of the game that will embody a 21st century South Africa, but only with your help. The creators want the input of everyday South Africans as to what local landmarks should be featured, by way of an online vote.

The new version of the game will be available in stores by the end of the year, and voting will close on March 31st. You can vote multiple times, but only once per day; we assume this is done with a cookie, so if you clean your browser cache you could probably load the votes if you really wanted to.

The final version of the game will have 22 locations and four transport hubs.

Vote for your favourite location here

Unfortunately, you can’t just take a picture of your house and submit it for a place on the board. Instead there are three categories: West Coast, Inland and East Coast, and we counted 58 different places for you to vote on. Use Ctrl + F to see if your favourite South African destination has made the cut.
