Fight (like) hell in the new DOOM trailer

We’re just over a month away from DOOM opening a portal to hell on our computers and consoles on May 13th, so Bethesda has graced us with a cinematic trailer to keep us satiated.

Posted yesterday and called “Fight Like Hell”, we get to go for a short ride with the enigmatic Doom-guy in his newest, most armoured iteration. There’s blood, there’s gore, there’s almighty fuel for the hype trail leading up to the release.

While the visuals are certainly impressive enough to get your blood pumping, remember that this is a cinematic trailer.

But for an FPS with as much pedigree as this, some Hollywood talent was brought in to direct it. Joseph Kosinski, who directed Tron: Legacy and Oblivion, helped create this video. We think it’s his best work out of the trio.

But that’s just the visuals, what about the sound? The music here is from Swedish band Refused and their song New Noise. You may also know it from the movie Crank.
