The latest – and to some the strangest – Apple phone is almost upon us.

That’s right, the iPhone SE is out tomorrow, and if you’re the owner of any other iPhone and are itching to get your hands on the SE for a generous discount, rejoice – because that that’s exactly what’s on offer.

How much can you get for your particular model? Here’s what local Apple distibrutor The Core Group shared with us on email:

6S Plus R8 000
6s R7 000
6 Plus R6 000
6 R5 500
5s R3 300
5c R2 000
5 R2 000
4s R1 000

You can take advantage of the offer from tomorrow at iStores across the country. Remember, the SE isn’t just a dressed-up iPhone 5s, it’s actually quite an upgrade over that phone, which we can’t wait to see for ourselves when our review handset arrives in the coming days.

The SE’s actual street price is not yet known, but you can bet your bottom dollar it’s more than R8 000. The US price starts at $399 for a 16GB model.

PSA over, previous programming will now resume.

Deon du Plessis

Deon got his first taste of PC gaming at the tender age of 11 when his father bought an 8088 XT, ostensibly to "help him with his homework". Instead, it introduced him to Leisure Suit Larry, King Graham, Sonny Bonds and many more, and Deon has been a PC gamer and hardware enthusiast ever since. He landed his first professional writing gig in 2006 at a prestigious local PC magazine, a very happy happenstance as he got to write for a living about things he loves - tech, PCs, gaming, and everything in between. He's been writing about it all ever since, and loves every minute of it.
