Listen: Solidarity blasts #SABC over court postponement

Solidarity CEO, Dirk Hermann has blasted the SABC and its legal representatives for asking the Labour Court to postpone a hearing against it over the dismissals of four journalists.

Hermann says all the public broadcaster needs to do is reinstate the employees.

The SABC’s legal team had asked Judge Robert Le Grange for a postponement, saying it was not prepared for the hearing and could not get hold of the public broadcaster’s management to discuss the case.

Judge Lagrange was not happy about the postponement, but granted it, postponing the matter to tomorrow at 12:30pm.

Hermann, addressed media shortly after the judge adjourned proceedings for the day.
