EFF Commander in Chief, Julius Malema, took to Twitter to tweet what looks like an official proposal by the ANC to form a coalition with the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) in Limpopo.
Malema tweeted a letter, which we can’t confirm was indeed written by the ruling party’s Limpopo arm or not, addressed to the FF+’s General Secretary.
It’s also not clear whether he took the photo himself.
In the letter, the ANC requests an urgent meeting with the party to discuss a possible coalition in the Thabazimbi and Modimolle/Mookgopong Local Municipality.

In the last few days after voting day, the ANC has said it is considering forming coalitions with smaller parties in municipalities where they secured less-than-desirable votes.
Teaming up with the FF+, however, may not go down very well with many members of the ANC, as the white-led, mostly Afrikaans party is viewed by some as the modern day National Party, which governed South Africa during the Apartheid years.
The FF+’s website itself states that the party is against Affirmative Action, race quotas, BEE and other highly contentious race-based issues in South Africa, while it is for the advocacy of minority rights.
