New Humble Bundle is filled with cheap, fantastic indie games

Of all the Humble Bundle variants, the “Humble Indie Bundle” is probably the most lauded.

Packed to the brim with cheap games produced by small teams that also happen to be fantastic pieces of software, it’s not difficult to see why this is the 17th iteration of the bundle.

Of particular note in this bundle is Nuclear Throne, the celebrated twin-stick shooter / rogue like, that almost never goes on sale. If the Chrome extension Enhanced Steam is to be believed, the lowest price this game has ever been sold for is $11.99 (R160.63). In this bundle you can pick up the game for just $10 (R134)  and, while that not be as cheap as the current local Steam price (R129), you’re be snagging quite a few other titles at the same time.

This is probably the best way to buy the game so far, so if you’ve had your eye on it up to this point we don’t think you’ll find a better deal.

The Humble Indie Bundle 17:

  • Tier 1  – Pay $1 (R13.40) or more:
    • Lethal League
    • The Beginner’s Guide
    • Galak-Z
  • Tier 2 – Pay more than the current average ($5.70 / R76.38 at the moment):
    • Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
    • Octodad: Dadliest Catch
    • SUPER TIME FORCE ULTRA
  • Tier 3  – Pay $10 (R134) or more:
    • Nuclear Throne

As with all Humble Bundles, this also buys you a 10% discount a Humble Monthly subscription, and you’ll be supporting the charities Electronic Frontier FoundationChild’s Play and a charity of your choice.
