The Bat-Signal is one of the iconic parts of Batman, up there with Alfred, Batarangs and dead parents.
Now, thanks to this design by 3DNG that was uploaded to Pinshape, you can have a Bat-Signal right in your pocket.
As far as concepts go, this one is straightforward. The print is made to slip onto a phone with an exposed end where your flash emits from. Turn on your torch and the light will shine through one of three Batman logos and project it onto a wall (or clouds if they’re really, really low).
3DNG has included the logos from what looks like from Batman Forever, The Dark Knight and Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Each of the logos are printed onto interchangeable slides so you’re not stuck summoning just one Batman. It also comes with a blank slide which you can use to make your own logo or use one from the history of batman logos.
While 3DNG and two Pinshape users have printed and displayed the design on iPhones, the design doesn’t seem to be locked down to one phone type. The designer also stated that “since not all of us have the same smartphone, I’m also making [a long clip available so] you can attach and slide around to adjust it”.
