Get your own Doomguy collectible figurine by 3D printing it

If you played this year’s DOOM you’ll know about the fun collectibles – little models of the protagonist “Doomguy” – that you can find throughout the levels.

Fans have been clamouring for real version of the in-game toys since the launch in May, and we’ve only received a watered-down Pop! vinyl figurine to satiate us.

Luckily the makers of the world have stepped up and one of them has uploaded a free model to Thingiverse.

If you compare it to the figure in the game, this looks like either a brilliant replica, or the uploader has managed to extract the official 3D file from the game itself.

Some details are missing, though, such as the grill around the helmets visor. We suspect that these were textures in the game and not part of the design itself, lending more credence to the theory that this was ripped from the game.

Regardless, we’re going to go print one now so we can fist bump it.

If you want a DOOM 3D print but a cute model isn’t what you’re looking for, we suggest this full size heavy assault rifle.
