Canada’s Citizen and Immigration (CIC) website, where one can apply to immigrate to the land of the maple leaf, has crashed and it could all be because of Donald Trump.
The site apparently crashed in the early hours of the morning (South African time) as results from the #Elections2016 started coming in.

Currently, and much to the dismay of many, Trump leads with 266 votes while Clinton sits at 218. A candidate needs 270 electoral votes to become the President of the US.
The connection between Trump’s lead and the site’s crash has obviously not been officially spelled out, but if American Twitter is anything to go by, citizens thinking of leaving their home country to go up north, could definitely be flooding the site.
