Okay, we’ve featured some amazing Fallout 4 fan creations, but this “fully functional” automatic laser rifle may be the best one yet.
The creator, Chris Wolfe, has created a 3D print of the gun from the game and added LEDs, a sound board, a regulator and other electronics all hooked up to a Metro Mini control board.
The result is a prop gun that spins up and makes firing noises when the trigger is pulled. Seeing it in action reminds us of the cheesy toy guns you can buy from flea markets that usually have such effects.
Wolfe has made the 3D printable files needed to make the body of the gun available for free on MyMiniFactory. To make it look like something from Fallout 4 you’re going to have to invest a lot of time tinkering with electronics and paint, but it looks damn good when it’s finished.
