We had recorded a podcast for today, but sadly some gremlins got into our files and sowed havoc.

Never fear though, pesky creatures shall not keep us from recording a podcast this week so having crudely fashioned a recording solution out of tin cans, string and circuit boards connected to the internet we bring you this week’s podcast.

First up Nick Cowen talks us through what has been happening at the SABC this week including the ongoing inquiry and the Western Cape High Court’s ruling on Hlaudi Motsoeneng’s appointment at the SABC.

Then Brendyn Lotz and Sahil Lala (joining us for his first htxt.africast) talk about the extensive changes Valve has made to Dota 2 and why it might be a good time to start playing the game if you’ve been considering it.

This is our penultimate podcast for 2016. Make sure you join us next week when we discuss the best and worst things of 2016.
