Nintendo Switch gets 3 more launch titles

Indie game developer Tomorrow Corporation has announced its three titles will be available for purchase for the Nintendo Switch at launch.

In post on its official website, the developer said that the games World Of Goo, Human Resource Machine and Little Inferno will be available for digital purchase when the Switch lands in retailers on March 3rd of this year.

Eagle-eyed Nintendo fans will note that all three of these titles aren’t exactly new; World Of Goo was released back in 2008 for the Wii and both Human Resource Machine and Little Inferno were WiiU games.

That having been said, they’re all pretty solid titles and players who have never experienced them are in for a treat. In an effort to entice those who played theses games way back, Tomorrow Corporation has added some exclusive content for the Switch platform.

“For the first time ever, all three games will come bundled with their full original soundtracks. Tomorrow Corporation’s intrepid interns have created a new Soundtrack Mode, where players can explore Kyle Gabler’s wonderfully bizarre music in this special mode, available only on Nintendo Switch,” the developer said in its announcement.

The addition of these games brings the Nintendo Switch’s launch line-up to a total of eight games. The list in full as it stand is:

  • The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
  • 1-2 Switch
  • Skylanders Imaginators
  • Just Dance
  • Super Bomberman R
  • World Of Goo
  • Human Resource Machine
  • Little Inferno

While it’s great to see the Nintendo Switch receive a few more launch titles, it has to be pointed out that all but two of those games are ports of earlier releases. Here’s hoping that the Switch is going to get some more exclusive IPs. We’d hate to see Nintendo repeat its mistake of bolstering its console with older games – much as it did with the WiiU.
