The White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer is perhaps the most giving person in Trump’s administration. What we mean to say is that Spicer appears to love making the internet say, “wait what?”.
If that wasn’t enough fuel to keep the internet busy for a while Spicer has retweeted an article from The Onion which says Spicer’s role in the Trump administration, “…will be to provide the American public with robust and clearly articulated misinformation.”
The video accompanying the tweet presents five things you should know about Sean Spicer including whether he can rock a pocket square.

Curiously, Spicer has retweeted The Onion’s tweet saying, “You nailed it. Period!”

Either Spicer is playing an elaborate prank on the entire internet or he – like so many internet denizens – didn’t read or watch the video before sharing it.
Nevertheless the internet has responded to Spicer in the way you might expect, mockingly.
um, I think you might be too dumb for this job, dude. Or maybe even to, like, drive a car… @TheOnion

Have you fallen on your head, @seanspicer?

Bizarrely the tweet is still up, though it’s entirely plausible that Spicer has not seen the responses to his tweet, or the many articles from news agencies who have picked up on his mistake.
The other possibility is that Spicer is having us all on and will at some point out that he enjoyed the joke and his tweet was sarcastic.
Let’s hope that the secretary doesn’t start a war with The Onion now, it is just a satirical site after all, or is it alternative facts? We aren’t quite sure of the correct term anymore.
