Dinosaurs, quests and 135 new cards are coming to Hearthstone soon as Blizzard announces the next expansion will be a Journey to Un’Goro.
Truthfully the Hearthstone community had its suspicions that the next expansion would draw from the ancient crater but its nice to have an official word from Blizzard.
The new expansion will bring new cards to the tavern but there are also a few other features Blizzard announced that we’re quite excited about.
One of these is the new keyword, Adapt. When a player plays a card with this keyword they will be given three choices out of a pool of 10 to add to that minion. Some of these adaptations include stealth, divine shield, windfury, taunt and +3 attack.

Blizzard has also revealed Legendary spell cards called Quests that will always appear in your opening hand. These Quests appear on your hero portrait like secrets but can be seen by your opponent.
Blizzard revealed the Awaken the Makers quest for the Priest class which requires players summon seven minions with a Deathrattle effect.
Once the quest is completed players will receive a reward in the form of Amara, Warden of Hope, a taunt minion with the ability to set your hero’s health to 40.
There is also a new Elemental tribe. This will include the new Mage Legendary Pyros as well as older cards such as Unbound Elemental and Ragnaros, the Firelord.
There will be more card reveals come 17th March and 50 packs from the new expansion can be pre-ordered for $49.99 (~R650) before its release in April.
