Four of South Africa’s tech communities need your help

There are a number of communities bent on furthering technology in South Africa and now four of them are calling on sponsors to help expansion.

The communities in question are Women in Tech Cape Town, The Modern Alchemists, Arduino Cape Town and TechTalk.

While each of those communities touches on something different in the tech space they all have similar goals: sharing the wonders of technology with more people.

These organisations, led by Robyn Farrah are looking to expand and offer more to both the communities and the people they serve.

“Over the past five years, I have driven several successful tech communities and events, all of which have reached a stage of growth that requires more than just myself and a part-time committee to run them,” Farrah writes in a blog post.

The goals for expansion including setting up a dedicated office with a full staff contingent that would oversee mentoring programmes, courses and events that focus on technology, hackathons and much more.

If this sounds like the sort of initiative you would like to sponsor we urge you to get in touch with Farrah via email on robyn@kato.global or visit her blog for more information.
