Maker alarm clocks are becoming more and more fun. We recently saw this version which requires you to shoot it with a Nerf gun, and now this: an alarm clock you can play Pac-Man on.

Inside of this project you’ll find an Arduino Mega with a real time clock module, a 3.2″ touchscreen and a voice recorder.

The electronics are housed in a laser cut wooden body made of two face plates and several rings.

The custom version of Pac-Man works on slightly different rules here. The movement is a bit different and you can see it in action in the gif at the bottom of the story.

The creators, , state that they may expand on the software if there is enough interest. If you’d like to show that interest, check out the full guide to replicate this clock as well as all the code you’ll need over on Instructables.
