htxt.africast – Hacking dishwashers, Breath of the Wild and the Journey to Un’Goro

Another week and that means it’s time for Nick and myself to talk tech with you for a few minutes.

First up I chat about a security flaw that was discovered in a dishwasher by a German researcher. The time really has come for firms creating gadgets for the internet of things to start taking security a lot more seriously.

Then Nick has been spending his time playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch. While the game sounds fantastic the fact that you can play it while sick in bed is perhaps the best feature any game could have.

Speaking of games you can play in bed, the next Hearthstone expansion – Journey to Un’Goro – is out next week and Nick and myself take some time to tell you about the special celebrations Blizzard has planned for the roll over to the new year of Standard play, the Year of the Mammoth. We also chat about the cards we’ll really miss and the cards we are so happy to see the back of.

As you can no doubt hear from the africast, we have a busy week ahead of us so enjoy this edition of the htxt.africast, and we’ll see you again next week.
