Thor’s helmet from the Ragnarok trailer is already a 3D print

It’s been a week since the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok was finally released and, if you’re itching to buy yourself Thor’s sweet helmet as an official prop, we have an alternative for you.

Maker and YouTube content creator Uncle Jessy has printed out the helmet himself. While it may still be purple and red (he’s going to finish and paint it at a later point) it looks accurate to the trailer.

The main part of the helmet took around 37 hours to print and the “ears” can move up and down. At the moment this movement is independent, but that may be addressed later.

If you’re interested in getting your own helmet, you can’t just download the files for free from Thingiverse or MyMiniFactory as with most of the 3D prints we feature. You’ll have to go through Do3D.com and speak to them about it. Make sure you also watch the accompanying video for this print to see it in action.
