We haven’t featured a video from the Linus Tech Tips channel for a while and we thought it was time to change this with their newest video looking at ten years of NVIDIA graphics cards.

The video looks at the iterations of cards from Team Green and how they compare against each other in games such as Half Life 2 and Bioshock Infinite, as well as the Unigine Heaven benchmark.

As you may expect, the FPS results get higher and higher with each new card, but it’s also an interesting watch to learn about NVIDIA’s process of making new cards, as well as seeing the sometimes gigantic leaps, and other times small steps forward.

If you’re looking for that “10 Years of AMD Video Cards” video, you can watch it right here.

This video comes at an interesting time. We just interviewed another YouTube channel in LowSpecGamer, a channel which uses much older cards such as the GTX 460 and 640 to test out games.

It’s a far cry from Linus’ type of video which is obsessed with multiples of the newest cards, and it’s an interesting channel to see how the cards of yesterday can sometimes still hold up with modern games.
